Redirect Your Georgia Taxes to Empower Learners — Join Our Upcoming Apogee event

As we enter the season of gratitude, The Forest School community is deeply thankful for the individuals, families, and businesses who have chosen to make a lasting impact through the Apogee Scholarship Fund. Over the past three years, generous Georgians have redirected thousands of dollars in state income tax credits—directly supporting access to learner-driven education right here in our state. It doesn’t cost families or businesses anything extra—just a simple redirect of taxes you already owe—but it’s tremendously beneficial for The Forest School and the learners it serves.

This year, $27,500 has already been redirected—that’s about 13% of our $200,000 goal. Every contribution helps make innovative, student-centered learning accessible to more Georgia families.

What Is the Apogee Scholarship Fund?

Through this powerful program, Georgia taxpayers can redirect a portion of their state income tax to provide scholarships for families at The Forest School—at no net cost to you. In other words, you can decide where your taxes go—and invest them directly into the next generation of changemakers.

You’ll receive a dollar-for-dollar state income tax credit, and your contribution goes straight to scholarships that fuel creativity, leadership, and real-world learning.
