Welcome new team members
We are thrilled to welcome two new team members to The Forest School staff—Mahallia and Jamal!
Mahallia Pollard
Office assistant
Mahallia is the mother of Mikail and Felicia and the wife of Mr. Hadrian, our Upper Elementary Guide and Founder-in-Residence. A former professional ballerina, she is now pursuing her studies in interior design. Mahallia is passionate about organization, sewing, running, and creating with her hands, and she loves traveling and exploring new experiences with her family. She is eager to spend time at First School, get to know our learners and families, and contribute to this wonderful community.
Jamal Cook

A Fayetteville, Georgia native, Jamal has witnessed firsthand the evolution and growth of the Trilith community—an experience that has deeply shaped his perspective. His interests are broad and dynamic, spanning sports, film, music, and lifestyle.
Jamal completed his education at the Georgia Film Academy at Trilith, where he specialized in core production disciplines, including producing, directing, and acting. Beyond his academic training, he is deeply committed to mentoring the next generation. He dedicates his time to helping young people discover their passions and pursue their calling—whether that means developing discipline in sports and nutrition or charting a meaningful professional pathway.
