Learn more about the Apogee Scholarship Program
Watch our recent Zoom session here to learn how, whether as a business or individual, you can have a meaningful impact.
At The Forest School, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive in an innovative learning environment. One of the ways we make this vision a reality is through the Apogee Scholarship Program—a unique Georgia tax credit initiative that directly benefits our learners while giving donors a powerful incentive to support our mission. You can make your contributions here. For families and supporters who may not be familiar with this impactful program, we’re excited to share how it works and how you can make a difference.
How Does The Apogee Scholarship Program Work?
The Apogee Scholarship Program is a tax credit initiative in Georgia that enables individuals and businesses to allocate part of their state tax payments directly to The Forest School. By participating, donors receive a dollar-for-dollar tax credit for their contributions, allowing them to make a significant impact without additional financial burden. This support plays a critical role in making our school accessible for families—25% of our Heroes attend The Forest School thanks to Apogee-funded scholarships.
The process is straightforward, and we’re here to support you every step of the way:
Make a Pledge: Submit your pledge for the 2025 tax credit program now through December 15.
Approval Process: In January 2025, the Georgia Department of Revenue will review applications. Once approved, you’ll have 60 days to complete your donation.
Receive Your Tax Credit: When you file your 2025 Georgia taxes, you’ll receive a dollar-for-dollar tax credit for your donation.
Ready to Take Part?
We invite you to join us in making The Forest School’s innovative education model accessible to more students. Make your pledge here and be part of something meaningful.
Thank you for considering the Apogee Scholarship Program. Together, we can ensure that every Hero at The Forest School has the chance to reach their full potential.
