We’re Hiring: Pre-K Paraprofessional
Do you know someone who lights up around young children, brings calm into a room, and notices the little moments that help children feel safe, capable, and seen?
The Forest School: An Acton Academy is hiring a part-time Pre-K Paraprofessional to support our youngest learners during the morning portion of the school day.
This role is a meaningful opportunity for someone who loves early childhood, enjoys being part of a thoughtful school community, and is looking for consistent part-time morning work.
At The Forest School, we believe children are capable, curious, and ready to grow when they are surrounded by meaningful work, clear expectations, supportive relationships, and opportunities for independence. In our early childhood environment, that often looks like quiet encouragement, gentle redirection, careful observation, and helping learners build confidence one small step at a time.
The Pre-K Paraprofessional will work alongside our Lead Guide to support learners ages 3–6 in a peaceful, structured, and nurturing environment. This is a great fit for someone who is patient, dependable, attentive, and eager to help young children develop independence and joy in learning.
Location: Fayetteville / Trilith, Georgia
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–10:30 AM
Compensation: $15/hour
Bonus: This person may also be invited to substitute for full days when additional coverage is needed.
Preferred: Spanish speaker preferred, but not required.
We are especially excited to meet candidates who have experience working with young children in a school, childcare, camp, church, or community setting. Formal classroom experience is helpful, but not required.
